Depending on how Dayforce is configured, you can view merchandise events that are associated with your KPIs in the Event tab in Plan.

Role feature access: Plan > Merchandise Event

You can review the events scheduled for the week (if available) and determine their impact on the store’s labor plan and schedule:

In the example above, the total labor cost has been increased by 15% to accommodate the Surplus Furniture Event merchandise event. A manager could see this reflected in their plan by clicking Initialize, expanding the Total Labor Cost KPI, and viewing the Customer Service zone for the week. In the screenshot below, the default weekly plan is shown and the merchandise event’s impact isn’t included:

After you click Initialize, Dayforce updates the plan and the increases the weekly Customer Service budget by 15% in the Manager Adjust field:
