Verify Employee List

In the Verify Employee List screen, Dayforce shows the employees that are assigned to the session’s vacation bidding group:

Verify Employee List screen showing the Details and Employee List sections and tabs for each round.

If the calendar period that you selected for the vacation bidding session contains more than one submission round, the screen contains a separate tab for each round. In each tab, Dayforce shows the round’s details and lists employees based on the bidding order configured for the calendar, using the bidding policy that’s associated with each round. The application shows this information in the Details panel and the Employee List section, respectively, in each tab that’s available.

Details

In the Details panel, Dayforce shows details that are specific to the selected submission round. These read-only details include the start and end dates of the round, its processing date, the total number of employees included, and how employees are ranked.

Employee List

In the Employee List section, Dayforce shows the list of employees that are included in the selected round, ordered by their rank in the bidding hierarchy. If necessary, you can manually adjust the employee order for each round. For example, you can adjust the bidding order in each round so that employees with a low ranking in the first round are higher in the bidding hierarchy in the second round. To adjust the employee order, select an employee and click Move Up and Move Down to change their rank in the bidding hierarchy.

If necessary, you can also exclude an employee from a submission round. For example, consider an employee who is currently active and assigned to the vacation bidding group but will be going on leave during the period that employees are bidding on for vacation. You can manually exclude the employee from the session by clicking the Exclude Employee checkbox.

You might need to refresh the employee list between submission rounds. For example, if an employee is added to a vacation bidding group that has a configured, active vacation bidding session, you must refresh the employee list to add the employee to the bidding session. Click Refresh to manually refresh the employee list. The Employee Ordering dialog box opens, where you can click OK to confirm the refresh or Cancel to leave the employee list as-is:
