When employees clock in or out for work and record their breaks, Dayforce compares the clock entries to their scheduled times. Any differences, such as an employee clocking in earlier than they were scheduled, are considered exceptions. The Time Entry Exception Report in Timesheets summarizes all of these exceptions and groups them by zone, department, job, or employee.
Before You Begin: It’s recommended that you use this report instead of the Time Card Exceptions Report.
