In Workforce Insights in the Team Status section, you can review the real-time status of your team. Click the sync icon () to refresh the feature and get the latest data.

In the Team Status section, Dayforce divides your scheduled employees into three status cards based on their current status:
- Unscheduled absence: Marks employees who haven’t clocked in for their shifts, and are outside of the lateness threshold that’s configured in their time entry policy (that is, the Exception In Late setting). See Time Entry Policies in the Dayforce Implementation Guide.
- Late: Marks employees who haven’t clocked in for their shifts, but are still within the lateness threshold that’s configured in their time entry policy.
- Clocked-in: Marks employees who are actively working, or taking a meal or break.
Each status card has a View employees button. If available, click View employees and Dayforce shows the employees with that status in the Employees section. For example, if you click View employees in the Clocked-in status card, Dayforce opens the Clocked-in screen which shows the employees who are working or taking a meal or break:
In this example, Dayforce shows each clocked-in employee at the loaded locations in the Employees section. You can view details such as their job assignment, employee number, schedule details for the day, and current status. At the top of the screen, you can narrow down the list of employees using the search field and the Status and Job Assignment filters. You can also apply sorting to the employees that Dayforce shows in the Employees section.
