The Payroll Import feature provides users who are either not payroll administrators, or who are decentralized payroll users (not primary payroll administrators), with a central location to import, review, and approve payroll elections and quick entry import files.
Before You Begin: Depending on your configuration, some elements of this feature might be inaccessible. You must add access to applicable roles using the Payroll Import role feature in System Admin > Roles in the Features tab. You must also add access to quick entry imports for applicable users in the System Admin > User in the Payroll Import Access tab, as well as adding add deduction and earning groupings to users, for access control, in the Payroll Import Access tab in the Deduction and Earning Groupings section.

Payroll Import Feature Access
Access to the Payroll Import feature must be added to both role and user:
- Access to the Payroll Import feature must be added to by role in System Admin > Roles in the Features tab by selecting the necessary role features under Payroll Import.
- Access to elements in the Payroll Import feature must be added by user in System Admin > User in the Payroll Import Access tab.
