In Projects in the Pay Code Setup tab, you can specify the pay codes that contribute to project time and cost using the Pay Code Charges for Project settings.
Note that not all pay codes should contribute to both project time and project cost. For example, counting the hours associated with premium pay codes against project time can result in these hours being counted twice. To prevent this, you can configure Dayforce so that it counts the costs associated with premiums with project cost, but not the hours. To configure a project so that overtime costs are charged against project cost, but the associated hours aren’t, select the pay code that marks overtime in the Charge Against Project Cost list. When you configure the projects that contribute to project hours in the Charge Against Project Time list, don’t select the pay code that marks overtime.
