The Coverage Panel

The Coverage panel in Schedules shows staffing levels for zones and activities on each day of the week. You can use this high-level coverage information to adjust the schedule for over- or under-staffing.

Role feature access: Schedules > Coverage Pane

To open the panel, click the Coverage tab:

Coverage tab showing a color coded level of coverage every day of the week for each zone.

To determine coverage, Dayforce compares the location’s scheduled shifts with the location’s labor budget, which is published in your organization’s plan. Dayforce color codes over- and under-staffed periods to give a high-level graphical overview of the coverage levels for each zone and activity.
