The Coverage panel in Schedules shows staffing levels for zones and activities on each day of the week. You can use this high-level coverage information to adjust the schedule for over- or under-staffing.

To open the panel, click the Coverage tab:
To determine coverage, Dayforce compares the location’s scheduled shifts with the location’s labor budget, which is published in your organization’s plan. Dayforce color codes over- and under-staffed periods to give a high-level graphical overview of the coverage levels for each zone and activity.
| Color | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Red | Over-staffing. In the screenshot above, the Accessories zone is overstaffed on Sunday morning. |
| Green | Correct staffing. In the screenshot above, the Accessories zone is staffed correctly on Wednesday until late in the day. |
| Yellow | Under-staffing. In the screenshot above, the Accessories zone is understaffed early on Tuesday. |
| Yellow-green | Slight under-staffing. |
| Orange | Slight over-staffing. |
