Schedule Tasks in the Grid View

To schedule tasks in the Schedules Grid View:

  1. Go to Schedules and load a location.
  2. In the Add Schedule dialog box or the Edit Schedule dialog box, select Add Task in the drop-down list:
  3. Drop-down list containing options such as Add Meal, Add Activity, and Add Task.
  4. Dayforce shows a drop-down list that includes any tasks that are valid both for that day and that employee:
  5. Cursor hovering over the tasks list in the dialog box, with a tooltip showing the task details.
  6. Select a task in the list.
  7. Close the dialog box.
  8. Click Save.

You can schedule more hours than were planned. In the Tasks panel, you can view how many hours you’ve scheduled compared to how many hours were planned:
