Schedule Panels

In Centralized Schedules and Schedules, you can use the set of tabs below the toolstrip to view additional information about the schedule. When you click a tab, a panel expands to show more information.

Important:

  • Some panels aren’t available in both scheduling features.
  • Dayforce shows some panels in Centralized Schedules only when the equivalent panel is enabled and available in Schedules. For example, if you grant a user access to the Schedules > Cost role feature to enable the Cost panel in Schedules, it also grants the user access to the Cost panel in Centralized Schedules.

Name Description
Problems Shows any errors, warnings, or informational messages that exist on the schedule. See Schedule Problems, Schedule Changes, and Rejected Offers.
Cost

Role feature access: Schedules > Cost

Shows information about how much the schedule would cost if every scheduled employee worked the times that they’re scheduled. See View Schedule Cost Estimates.

Audits

Role feature access: Schedules > Audit

Shows information about changes to the schedule, such as changes to a shift’s start and end times.

Shift Trades

Role feature access: Schedules > Shift Trade History

Shows employee shift trades.

Trends (Schedules only)

Role feature access: Schedules > Schedule Trend

Shows the selected employee’s previously scheduled days. Dayforce shows prior weeks graphically with the employee’s scheduled days marked in gray:

Trends panel showing an employee's previously scheduled days.

With this information, you can review employees’ previously scheduled days, making it easier to create schedules that respect specific shift distribution patterns. For example, you can use this information to ensure that employees aren’t scheduled for two consecutive Saturdays.

Tasks Shows tasks for the week. Dayforce shows the Tasks panel only if the current week has at least one planned, schedule-impacting task.
KPI

Role feature access: Schedules > KPI View

Shows the KPIs and formas that your administrator configured. Dayforce respects the zone filters that you select, but only for a single zone. For example, if you filter the schedule to show only one zone, Dayforce shows data only for that zone. When you don’t filter the schedule by zone, Dayforce shows data for all zones.

You can filter KPI data for a single zone or all zones. If you filter the schedule for two or more zones, Dayforce shows data for all zones.

Location Daily Properties (Schedules only)

Role feature access: Schedules > Location Daily Property

Shows the location daily properties that you can create for specific locations and use with task management and labor planning. See Location Daily Properties (Schedules only).

Coverage (Schedules only)

Role feature access: Schedules > Coverage Pane

Shows staffing levels for each day of the week in each zone and activity. You can use this high-level coverage information to adjust the schedule for over- or under-staffing. See Coverage Curves and Efficiency Scores (Schedules Only).

Events (Schedules only)

Role feature access: Schedules > Merchandise Event

Shows the event name, start and end date, the number of affected KPIs, and any comments. The panel’s appearance might vary, depending on whether Dayforce is configured to use events. See Merchandise Events and Affected KPIs (Schedules Only).
