Schedule Employees Using Autofill

By default, autofill runs for your entire location, scheduling everyone who is available to work. However, you can use the filters in the Autofill dialog box to autofill only certain zones, employees, shifts, and more.

Before You Begin: You can run autofill only in Schedules. Centralized Schedules doesn’t support autofill.

To autofill your schedule:

  1. Go to Schedules and load a schedule.
  2. Click Generate > Autofill.
  3. In the Filters tab, use the drop-down lists to limit what you want Dayforce to autofill. If you don’t use any filters, Dayforce autofills the entire schedule.
  4. In the Options tab, configure the settings in each sub-tab.
  5. Click OK.
