In Pay Approve Checklist, the Exceptions column can highlight three different location exceptions.

| Problem Time Entries |

Shows the number of problems on the time and attendance records for each location during each pay period. |
| Active Time Entries |
|
Shows the number of active time entries for each location during each pay period. Time entries are considered active when an employee has clocked in for the current day, but hasn’t yet clocked out, and not enough time has elapsed to consider the clock entry missing. |
| Unauthorized Records |
|
Shows the number of unauthorized records on your location’s timesheet during each pay period. |
For example, the following screenshot shows that the pay group calendar for Store 999 has both active and unauthorized time entries in the Exceptions column:
