Review Employee Clock Entries

You can review employees’ clock entries in Clock Entry Audits. Dayforce shows employee information and their clock data, such as the clock entry time, type, and state:

Clock Entry Audits screen showing clock entry records for three employees.

If your organization uses the Dayforce Touch Clock and the clock is configured to capture employees’ pictures when they perform clock entries, Dayforce also shows the employee’s clock picture and stock picture (as configured in People, in Work > Photo Enrollment). In this screen, you can verify that the employee performed their own clock entry. For more information about picture capture, see the Clocks Guide.

Depending on how Dayforce is configured, you might also be able to review employees’ clock pictures and stock pictures in the Clock Data panel in Timesheets.

Filter Clock Entries

To filter clock entries:

  1. Go to Clock Entry Audits and click Filter.
  2. Click Add Filter and select the filters that you want to use.
  3. Click Update.
  4. Configure the filters and then click Apply.

Save Filters as Favorites or Lists

After filtering clock entries, you can save your filter selections as a favorite or list so that you can access them again later. Lists combine filters and a static list of employees. Dayforce loads the same employees each time you apply the list, while favorites are based on filters and might therefore return different employees each time you apply it.

To save a filter as a favorite or a list:

  1. Go to Clock Entry Audits.
  2. Click Filter and apply your desired filters.
  3. Click Favorites and then select Add New Favorite or Add New List.
  4. Enter a name, then click Save. Dayforce saves the favorite to the Favorites drop-down list.

To edit a favorite, click Favorites > Manage Filters or Manage Lists. In the dialog box that opens, you can:

  • Rename favorites.
  • Delete favorites.
  • Add or remove employees from favorites.
