Resolve Tardies in Time Review

You can review and resolve tardies in Time Review.

Role feature access: Time Review > Timesheet > Extended Tardy Processing

For example, on this employee’s timesheet, Thursday has two tardies that need to be resolved:

To resolve tardies:

  1. Go to Time Review.
  2. Do one of the following:
    • To resolve one tardy at a time, click in the cell and select a resolution code in the drop-down list. In the following example, to resolve the late clock-in, the manager selects Excused Absence:
    • Cursor hovering over Excused Absence in the drop-down list to resolve a late-in tardy.
    • Note: You might see pay code icons when selecting tardy codes, depending on how Dayforce is configured
    • To resolve all of the tardies in a shift, click the down arrow and select Resolve All Exceptions in the shift drop-down list. Dayforce shows the Resolve All Exceptions option only if at least one of the tardies has a default resolution code defined. For more information, contact your administrator.
  3. Click Save.

Dayforce assigns the default resolution code for each exception that has a resolution code defined.
