Gatekeeper roles can record a task’s progress for multiple assigned locations at once.
To record a task’s progress for multiple locations:
- Go to Task Management.
- (Optional) Click Load to load tasks from a specific period or based on the filter options that you’ve specified. Otherwise, click a task that’s already shown in the List View tab. Dayforce shows the task’s assigned locations in the location details section:
-
- In the location details section, hold the Ctrl or Command key and select the assigned locations that you want to update the task’s progress for.
- Click Mass Edit.
- Note: The Mass Edit button is unavailable until you select two or more location rows.
- In the Edit Assigned Tasks dialog box that opens, do one of the following:
- Select an option in the Status drop-down list and enter a value in the % Complete field, if applicable.
- Use the % Complete slider to set both the status and completion percentage:
- A task with zero percent completion is automatically given the Assigned status.
- A task with between one and 99 percent completion is automatically assigned the In Process status.
- A task with 100 percent completion is automatically assigned the Complete status.
- (Optional) If the task is complete, you can specify a different completion date in the Date Complete field. This field contains the date when the task’s status was changed from In Process to Complete.
- (Optional) In the Budgeted Hours field, enter the task’s labor budget.
- (Optional) In the Zone drop-down list, select the zones that you want to reassign the task to.
- Note: This setting is available only if the task is configured with the Zone can be re-assigned checkbox selected. Further, this setting is unavailable if the selected task is schedule-impacting.
- (Optional) Enter a hyperlink and comments.
- Click OK and Save.
