Record Job Assignment Changes

To record new or additional work assignments or update existing work assignments for an employee, you can submit a Job Assignment Change form.

Before You Begin: For a description of each setting in the form, see List of Job Assignment Change Form Settings.

To submit a Job Assignment Change form:

  1. Go to People, open the employee profile, and click Forms.
  2. Select the Job Assignment Change form. Fields that are already recorded in Dayforce are automatically populated.
  3. (Optional) Update the employment status settings at the top of the form.
  4. In the Work Assignments section, Dayforce shows the employee's existing work assignments. Click Add to create a record or Delete to remove a record. You can also edit existing records.
  5. Click Submit.
