Run the Projected Hours Report in Timesheets to report on the number of hours employees are projected to work. It’s useful to run this report midweek to help determine how many employees are likely to work into overtime.
The projected hours are based on the employee’s schedule and the number of hours they’ve already worked. For example, an employee is scheduled Monday to Friday, for 8 hours a day, and a total of 40 scheduled hours, but the employee works 10 hours on Monday and Tuesday. As a result, if run on a Wednesday, the employee is projected to work 44 hours. This includes the 20 hours the employee already worked on Monday and Tuesday, plus the additional 24 hours the employee is scheduled to work on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.
Note: If you run the report for a week in the past, the projected hours will reflect the actual hours worked in the prior week.
