Plan Toolstrip

The toolstrip in Plan contains several buttons that you can use to view and manage your plans.

Note: Dayforce enables the Calc Eff, Derive, Forecast, Forecast with Logs, and Initialize buttons only when you load store-level locations. If you load above-store locations (for example, organizations), these buttons are grayed-out and unavailable.

Plan toolstrip buttons
Button	Description
Load	The locations and dates to load.
Save Comments	Role feature access: Plan > Comments Save comments entered in the Comments column.
Forecast	Role feature access: Plan > Forecast Generate the forecast, which is a shorter-term plan for your location that uses historical data to forecast KPIs.
Derive	Role feature access: Plan > Derive Calculate efficiency scores and load them into Plan.
Reset	Role feature access: Plan > Reset Manager Adjustments Reset edits made to plan data in the Manager Adjust column, replacing the edited values with those from the forecast.
Initialize	Role feature access: Plan > Initialize Copy the inputted or forecast values from other managers or users into the Manager Adjust column for editing.
Publish Plan	Role feature access: Plan > Publish Plan Publish the plan so that other users can see it in other parts of Dayforce, such as in Schedules.
Calc Eff	Role feature access: Plan > Calculate Efficiencies Generate the ideal labor curve and calculate ideal and actual efficiencies based on the configuration in the Efficiency Score Settings tab in Plan Setup > KPI Metadata.
Monthly Plan View	Role feature access: Plan > Monthly Plan View View KPI values at a glance for the loaded month. The Monthly Plan View opens in a new window.
Reports	Role feature access: Plan > Reports > ProActual Report Opens the Reports dialog box, where you can configure and run the ProActual Report.
