The Pay Summary Report in Timesheets, Pay Admin Checklist, and Pay Approve Checklist shows the payroll data of your employees, including how much employees earned in regular pay, overtime, or any other pay categories your organization tracks. It shows this information in wages and in the number of hours employees worked in each pay category.
With this report you can show the employee’s clock entry times, authorizations, and daily pay details, listing which pay categories and pay codes their worked time was recorded against. The report shows different totals, depending on how you choose to group employees.
Note:
- To include overlapping premiums in this report, enable the Include Overlapping Premium client property. This setting is available in System Admin > Client Properties in the Properties tab, in the Timesheet section.
- To avoid performance issues with this report, consider its scope. For example, if you run the report for a large date range (such as a year) and you run it for the highest org unit in your organizational hierarchy, the report might time out and fail.

Conversely, if you select multiple pay groups, Dayforce disables the Selected Period option and selects the Selected Week option by default. |
