Pay Delta Report

Run the Pay Delta Report in Timesheets or Pay Admin Checklist to review any retroactive pay adjustments that have been made for a pay period. The report compares an employee’s time and pay before and after the retroactive adjustments were made, and then provides the delta, calculating the difference between them.

Note: The Pay Delta Report shows retros from closed periods and transmitted ones (for pay groups configured with differing pay close and pay transmission frequencies). See Close Pay Before Transmission in the Dayforce Implementation Guide.

Pay Delta Report settings
Setting Description
Organization

The organizational unit to report on. Dayforce summarizes the pay of every location underneath your selection.

When you click the org picker icon (), Dayforce shows an enhanced org picker that functions slightly differently than the legacy org picker. See Org Pickers in the Getting Started with Dayforce guide.

Pay Group The pay group and pay period to report on. The report includes any retroactive pay adjustments that were created during the selected period.
Show hours in HH:MM

Dayforce shows times as hours and minutes, rather than as a decimal value.

Show Details Dayforce shows detailed information for each day that an employee has retros. Clear the checkbox and Dayforce shows only employee subtotals without the detailed information.
Show Pay Codes

This setting is enabled when you select the Show Details checkbox. Select this option to include the Pay Codes column in the report.

Note: This report groups data by pay category rather than pay code. If the report contains data for three pay codes that belong to the same pay category, the Pay Codes column shows the sum of the amounts or hours for all three pay codes.

Show Subtotals This setting is enabled when you select the Show Details checkbox. Select this option to show both employee details and employee subtotals in the report.
Managers Report on a specific manager’s employees.
Employees

The employees to include in the report. Select All Employees to include all employees in the report, or select Selected Employee to report on only one employee.

If you chose Selected Employee, click the Choose Employee button. Dayforce shows the Search dialog box where you can narrow your employee selection with several filters.

Description A description for the report. Dayforce shows the description next to the file name in Message Center.
Format The format for the report file. You can generate the report in Excel or PDF format.
