New employees in UK pay groups can use the New Starter Checklist Form UK to save information about employment history reported in their P45 form to Dayforce. They can upload a copy of their P45 as a supporting document.
Access and configuration: In Documents > Admin > Document Types, set up the UK P45 Document type to allow uploads of the supporting documentation requested by this form. See Document Types in the Document Management Guide.
If the employee doesn't have a P45, they’re required to answer questions in the Starter Declaration section of the form to help determine the correct tax code based on their employment history.
The form also includes a Student Loan Declaration section that determines the employee's repayment status, if any.
The information that the employee enters into the form is saved in the Payroll > Tax Definitions screen of People in the UK Tax Info section.
