Manage Shifts in Multi-Week Calendar

In the Multi-Week Calendar Shift Definition View, you can manage shifts using the Add Schedule and Edit Schedule dialog boxes.

Role feature access: Multi-Week Calendar > Shift Definition View

Unlike other scheduling features in Dayforce, you add shifts in Multi-Week Calendar by selecting shifts from a list of shift definitions. You can configure these shift definitions in Scheduling Plan > Shift Setup, in the Shift Definitions tab. For more information, see Configure Shift Definitions for Shift Rotations in the Dayforce Implementation Guide.

Add Shifts

To add shifts in the Shift Definition View:

  1. Go to Multi-Week Calendar and load a calendar.
  2. Select a cell and then click the add icon.
  3. In the Add Schedule dialog box that opens, configure the shift's details.
  4. Click OK and Save.

Edit Shifts

To edit shifts in the Shift Definition View:

  1. Load a calendar and then select a cell.
  2. Click the arrow icon and then click Edit Shift.
  3. In the Edit Schedule dialog box that opens, edit the shift's details.
  4. Click OK and Save.
