Employee Changes Report

The Employee Changes Report is used to report on any changes that were made to employee records within the selected pay period, and can be filtered by legal entity, employee, field name, the user who made the changes, or the type of transaction.

You can access the report in the following features:

  • Payroll, in the Overview and Pay Run Management tabs
  • People

Note: The report can be generated in Payroll for a specific pay group and pay period, and in People for a specific date range.

Description

Time Period Time period options in Payroll. In Payroll, you can run the report for a specific pay group and pay period. You can configure the following options:
  • Pay Group: Select a pay group in the drop-down list.
  • Year: Select a year in the drop-down list.
  • Selected Period: Select the pay period to include in the report.
Time period options in People. In People, you can run the report for a specific date range. You can enter the start and end dates to configure the date range.
Selected Employee Select an employee to report on. In People only, you can select more than one employee.
Legal Entities Select one or more legal entities to include in the report.

FieldNames

The report includes data for the selected fieldnames.
Changed By The report includes data for changes made by the selected users.
Transaction Type The report includes data for the selected transaction types.
Group By (Optional) Select one or more columns to group the report records by.
Sort By (Optional) Select one or more of the columns in the report to sort the records.
Description (Optional) Enter a description for the report. Dayforce shows the description next to the filename in Message Center.
Format Select the format for your report output. You can select PDF or Excel file format.
