Before You Begin: If an employee has already been scheduled and assigned a task, you can’t edit the task plan. In this scenario, Dayforce shows an error in the Problems panel, indicating that you must delete the employee’s shift before you can edit the task plan.
To edit task plans in the calendar:
- Go to Task Planning Calendar.
- Select the task in the left panel that you want to edit. Dayforce shows the days on the calendar in which the task plan is scheduled in bold:

- Click the bolded scheduled task in the calendar cell.
- In the Edit Task Plan dialog box, edit the required fields.
- Note: Some fields and settings might be grayed out and can’t be edited.
- Click Save.
