To edit a pay adjustment:
- Go to Timesheets and select the pay adjustment that you want to edit.
- Click the edit icon (
).
- In the pay adjustment dialog box that opens, make any necessary edits:
- Pay Adjustment Type: The type determines how the employee is paid for the adjustment, either at their regular rate or an overtime rate, and whether it uses one of the employee’s benefits, such as a paid vacation or sick days. The list of specific pay adjustment types that you can select depends on how Dayforce is configured.
- Job Assignment: The job assignment that triggered the pay adjustment.
- Project: The project associated with the pay adjustment.
- Docket: The docket associated with the pay adjustment.
- Piece Quantity: The quantity of work produced against the docket.
- Amount/Net Hours/Net Units: Change the amount of the pay adjustment by entering a new number in the field. In the drop-down list, change how the adjustment is paid out by selecting Amount to pay a lump sum to the employee or Hours to add an amount of worked hours to the timesheet.
- Labor Metrics: The labor metrics associated with the pay adjustment. Labor metric drop-down lists are shown using the unique, customized names that were configured for them.
- Comment: The comment associated with the pay adjustment.
- Reference Date: The reference date associated with the pay adjustment.
- Period Start Date and Period End Date: The date range for your FLSA adjustment period. These fields should be configured only for FLSA pay adjustments.
- Click OK.
- Dayforce edits the pay adjustment. If the pay adjustment creates a retroactive pay adjustment, Dayforce shows the retro icon (
) next to the employee’s name.
- Click Save.
