The Department Hours Report summarizes the labor cost billed against each department, in both hours and wages. You can select which departments, pay types, and pay categories to show on the report. For example, you can report just on overtime, for regular time in a particular department, or just the salaried employees in your departments.

| Show Department Summary | Include a summary for each department in the report, listing the total hours and wages. |
| Show Cross Reference Codes | The cross-reference codes associated with the different pay categories in the report. These are the codes used to link Dayforce with your payroll system. |
| Show hours in full precision | Dayforce doesn’t round decimal places when generating the report. Clear the checkbox and Dayforce rounds the values to two decimal places. |
| Show hours in HH:MM | The report shows times are hours and minutes rather than as a decimal value. |
| Show Job Details | The report breaks the hours and wages in each department down by job. |
| Show Employee Details | The report breaks the hours and wages in each department down by employee. |
| Manager | Only employees who report to this manager are included in the report. |
| Department | The departments to include in the report. The report summarizes only the eligible time worked against one of the selected departments. |
| Pay Type | The pay types to include in the report. The report summarizes only the eligible time worked against one of the selected pay types. |
| Pay Category | The pay categories to include in the report. The report summarizes only the time worked against one of the selected pay categories. |
| Description | The report description. Dayforce shows the description next to the file name in Message Center. |
| Format | The format for the report file. You can generate the report in Excel or PDF format. |
