Dayforce Communications provides a single, secure communication system embedded in Dayforce that delivers forum communities, news, and updates where employees already manage their schedules, pay, and shifts.
Role feature access: Communications
Note: Dayforce Communications is offered in limited availability with a reduced feature set in this release of Dayforce. Configuration and management of Dayforce Communications requires enrollment in the Access Management Early Adopter program. Contact your Dayforce support representative for more information.
Dayforce Communications includes one feature called Communities. Communities is designed for frontline and deskless workers who don't have access to traditional collaboration tools. Communities also enables managers and HR leaders to deliver timely, relevant information in one centralized place.
Role feature access: Communications > Communities
In limited availability, Communities includes the following features:
- Communities Administration: Create and manage community forums with strong membership and permission controls. Administrative tools are available only on the Dayforce desktop application. See Communities Administration.
- Employee Community Participation: Create posts and comment on other user's posts on your desktop and mobile devices. Receive notifications when specific events happen, such as a new post in a community where you’re a member. See Participate in Communities in the Employee Guide.
