In the Assigned Locations tab, specify to which locations tasks created from this template are assigned:
- You can browse the organization by expanding groups and selecting a region, district, or specific location.
- If you don’t select any locations, the Assign locations to the task section is blank for each task created from this template. Users creating tasks from this template must then specify their own locations.
- If you selected a task index template, you won’t be able to select locations. Dayforce automatically populates the assigned locations with the ones specified in the template.
Note: Depending on your access in Dayforce, you might see only a portion of your organizational hierarchy, or just a single location.
If necessary, select the location properties you want to assign the task template to in the Location Property Filter drop-down list.
