Assign Multiple Employees to a Vacation Bidding Group

To assign multiple employees to a vacation bidding group:

  1. Go to People.
  2. Do one of the following:
    • Click Filter and filter out the employees who you want to assign to a vacation bidding group. Make sure that all of the filtered employees are selected and click Edit > Edit All Filtered Results.
    • Select the employees who you want to assign to a vacation bidding group and click Edit > Edit Selected.
  3. The Edit wizard opens.
  4. (Optional) If you selected employees from more than one country, you might have to choose a pay group country for editing. You can only make edits to employees in the same country. Select the pay group country and click Next.
  5. In the Select Fields screen of the wizard, click the Vacation Bidding Group checkbox located in the Miscellaneous section.
  6. Click Next.
  7. In the Assign Values screen of the wizard, specify an Effective From date and select a vacation bidding group.
  8. Click Next.
  9. Dayforce applies validation and shows a preview that summarizes the changes you’re about to make and indicates how many employees will be updated.
  10. (Optional) Do any of the following:
    • To filter the list by employees with individual updates, select the Show Individual Updates Only checkbox.
    • To exclude one or more employees from updates (for example, if you added them accidentally), select the Excluded checkbox next to their employee number.
    • To filter the list by excluded employees, select the Show Excluded Employees Only checkbox.
  11. Click Submit. Dayforce shows the results of your updates.
  12. Click Mark as Complete.

You can also use this functionality to edit the vacation bidding group assignments of multiple employees at once.
