If one or more assessments have been assigned to you, you can complete and track their progress in the Assessments feature. Assessments are linked to learning activity in Dayforce Learning and might include several questions to assess each employee’s skills or knowledge, based on the learning content.
Before You Begin: The assessments functionality is currently supported only for customers who use the new Dayforce Learning feature. Contact your Dayforce support representative for more information.
Role feature access: Assessments
In the Assessments feature, you see either the assessor view or the administrator view, depending on whether you have access to Assessments Setup. For information about the administrator experience, see Assessment Administration in the Dayforce Implementation Guide.
When you open the Assessments feature as an assessor, you see a list of all of your active assessments, which you can search or filter, as needed.
The Assessments home page also shows the following cards to help you focus on key tasks and information:
- Action required: Shows assessments that are due and overdue.
- Assessments in progress: Shows assessments that you’ve started.
- Assessments finalized: Shows assessments that you’ve completed.
You can click the link on each card to see the assessments in that category.
When you’re assigned new assessments, Dayforce shows you a banner at the top of the Assessments home page to notify you of the new assessments.
To work on an assessment:
- Go to Assessments.
- Find and open the assessment that you want to work on.
- Answer the questions.
- If you’re finished with the assessment, click Submit. If you want to return to finish the assessment later, click Save as draft.
