You can add unscheduled shifts in Timesheets on behalf of an employee who worked unscheduled hours.
To mark worked time that was unscheduled:
- Go to Timesheets and load a location.
- Select a cell in the timesheets grid, then do one of the following:
- Click the add new shift icon (
).
- Click the arrow to expand the drop-down list and select Add New Shift.
- Click the add new shift icon (
- In the dialog box that opens, modify the shift’s details.
- Confirm the shift’s start and end times by clicking the checkmark icons (
).
- Note: If you don’t confirm the shift’s start and end times, Dayforce doesn’t add the unscheduled shift.
- Click OK, then Save.
