Add Multiple Shifts

To mass add shifts:

  1. Go to Timesheets and load a location.
  2. Click Mass Action. The Mass Action slide-out panel opens.
  3. Click Update Shifts and then click Next. The Edit Details screen opens.
  4. In the Identify Action section, select Add New Shifts and configure the shift’s details in the Add Shift Details section:
    1. Specify the days you want to add the shifts for.
    2. Select a location.
    3. Select a job assignment.
    4. (Optional) Select a pay code.
    5. Specify the shift start time and, if necessary, the shift end time.
    6. Enable or disable the Auto adjust meal and break times switch.
    7. (Optional) Set any other attributes that are available, such as comments, projects, labor metrics, and dockets and quantities.
  5. Click Next. The Review and Complete screen opens showing the employees who meet the shift criteria. Dayforce lists the employees who meet the shift criteria in the Accepted tab, and lists employees who don’t meet the shift criteria in the Rejected tab.
  6. Do any of the following, as needed:
    1. Select or clear the checkboxes next to any accepted employees to include or exclude them from the mass action.
    2. Use the search field to find specific employees.
    3. Review the information in the Rejected tab to learn why some employees were excluded from the mass action.
    4. Click Previous to return to the Edit Details screen to edit your configuration.
  7. Click Complete to mass add the shifts.
