Add Attachments to Employee Notes

To add attachments to employee notes:

  1. Go to People, open the employee profile, and select the screen you want to edit.
  2. Do one of the following, depending on which screen you are in:
    • Click Notes.
    • Click the notes icon in the row that you’re updating.
  3. The Notes slide-out panel opens.
  4. Select the note that you want to add the attachment to and click the upload files icon.
  5. In the Upload Files dialog box, do the following:
    • In the Document Type drop-down list, select the type of document.
    • Click Browse for file(s) or drag and drop the files into the dialog box, and then click Upload.
  6. Complete the fields in the note:
    • Title: Enter a title or select the Populate title from file name checkbox to use the attachment file name.
    • Comment: Enter your note or select the Populate comment from file name checkbox to use the attachment file name.
    • Associated Date: Enter the date that you want to use for filtering this note.
  7. Click Post.
  8. Click the collapse icon to close the Notes dialog box.
