In Profile, in Personal > About Me, the Balances section shows your timesheet balances, expiring balance transactions, time bank balances, and overtime balances. In the Overview tab, Dayforce shows your time away from work reasons, such as personal days or vacation errors.

For each balance, Dayforce shows your accrued, approved, pending, remaining, and exceeded values.

In the Expiring Transactions tab, you can view your expiring balance transactions. Entitlements can be configured so that balance transactions expire after a certain amount of time. For example, your organization might have a rule that when you work on a bank holiday, you're granted one lieu day that you must use within five weeks.

The Time Bank Balances tab shows eligible balances that are configured as time bank balances:

To request a balance payout:

  1. Go to Profile and open Personal > About Me.
  2. In the Balances section, click New Pay Out Request. The Request Balance Pay Out dialog box opens.
  3. In the Pay Out Reason drop-down list, select a pay out reason.
  4. In the Hours to Pay Out field, enter the number of hours that you want paid out.
  5. In the Pay Out Date field, specify the pay out date.
  6. (Optional) Enter a comment
  7. Click Submit.

To edit or cancel pending requests, click the edit icon () or the delete (delete icon) icon. Depending on how Dayforce is configured, you can also cancel approved requests by clicking the delete icon.
