Update Your Multifactor Authentication Contact Information

If you have a new phone number, you need to update your multifactor authentication (MFA) contact information so that Dayforce can send the verification code to the right place the next time that you log in.

Role feature access: Profile > Profile Menu > Settings > Security > Multifactor Authentication

In Profile, you can update your MFA contact information in Settings > Security, in the Multifactor Authentication section:

Multifactor Authentication section in the Security sub-tab.

Note: Your MFA contact information is stored separately from your other Dayforce contact information. Even if you updated your contact details in Dayforce, you need to update your MFA contact details separately.

To update your MFA contact information:

  1. Log in to Dayforce. To log in using MFA, you will need your previous phone number or secondary phone number.
  2. Go to Profile and open Settings > Security.
  3. In the Multifactor Authentication section, click Edit.
  4. In the dialog box that opens, follow the prompts to update your MFA contact information.
