Respond to Schedule Change Offers in Message Center

Depending on how your schedule change policy is configured, you might be able to accept or decline changes made to your posted schedule. If this feature is available to you, you receive a notification in Message Center each time your manager changes your posted schedule. Changes could include when a new shift is added or a change is made to a shift's start and end times.

When you open the schedule change offer in Message Center, Dayforce loads the request details:

In the screenshot above, the pending schedule change offer concerns the shift's end time on Thursday, August 5. The shift was originally supposed to end at 5:00 PM, but the shift's proposed end time is now 5:15 PM.

The notification that you receive in Message Center contains all of the changes to your posted schedule that week. If a week has multiple schedule changes, then all of the schedule changes come in one notification. For example, if your shifts on August 8, August 10, and August 13 have changes, you receive one notification containing all three changes. When you respond to the schedule change offer, Dayforce updates all of the changes at once.

To accept or decline a schedule change offer, click Accept or Reject. If you reject the schedule change, you must enter a reason for the rejection in the Response field.
