Message Center for Delegated Users

When you log in to Dayforce as a delegated user for another person’s account, you have limited access to Message Center. With this access, you can do certain tasks on behalf of the other person while making sure that you don’t have access to their confidential messages.

Access to Message Center for delegated users is restricted to the following folders:

  • Approvals: Take action on employee time away from work requests on behalf of the other person.
  • Actions: Take action on nonapproval-related employee requests on behalf of the other user. Your name or login ID is shown in the User Name column in the History section of the notification when you act for another user.
  • Reports: View reports that you run while you’re logged in as a delegate for this person. You can’t see any reports that the user ran.

Other folders in Message Center are hidden while you’re logged in to the other person’s account.
