Dayforce Co-Pilot

Getting Started with Dayforce

Version
R2025.1.1
Dayforce Co-Pilot

With Co-Pilot, employees can use natural language to find information about how to use Dayforce and get answers to HR-related questions. Co-Pilot can also help with certain tasks in Dayforce such as managing time away from work requests and writing draft job descriptions for job requisitions.

Note: Co-Pilot works in English only.

Co-Pilot's artificial intelligence (AI) uses information from Dayforce user guides and Advanced Experience Hub pages and documents to answer your questions and suggest links to relevant features in Dayforce. It maintains the context of the conversation to give intelligent responses when you ask follow-up questions. For example, you can ask Co-Pilot where to find your year-end tax form, and then ask how to print it.

Role feature access:

  • Application Container > Dayforce Co-Pilot
  • Application Container > Intelligent Search

To get started, enter your question into the search bar in the toolbar and click the ask AI icon:

Ask AI button

The conversation side panel opens, and Co-Pilot processes the question and then shows its response:

Co-Pilot follow-up question

The response includes a generated answer together with buttons that take you to suggested Dayforce features. The Related Information section contains links to relevant user guide topics and Advanced Experience Hub pages and documents. These links contain the original content that Co-Pilot uses to generate the answer to the question.

Note: The responses that are from Dayforce user guides might include information about features or functionality that aren’t available for your user role. The suggested feature buttons and responses that are from Advanced Experience Hub pages and documents are based on your access.

If you need more information, you can ask follow-up questions. Co-Pilot remembers the context of the conversation when responding:

Personal Information

Co-Pilot never shares your personal information, but it's always best to avoid sharing personal details whenever possible. If your question involves personal information, such as salary or pay dates, Co-Pilot doesn’t give a specific answer and instead gives you instructions to help you find it.

Experience Hub Administrator Note

When you change the audience for an Experience Hub subpage, you must republish the page before it is included in Co-Pilot’s responses for the new audience.
