Consent to SMS Messages

To communicate with recruiters using text messages on your mobile phone, you must give your consent to receive these messages in the Short Message Service (SMS) Consent panel. The panel is shown after SMS messaging is enabled by your organization and when you first log in to Dayforce and select an item from Careers.

The panel shows the mobile phone number from your employee record. If you want to change it, go to Profile.

To update your consent later, go to your career profile in the Profile feature or in Careers > Profile and click Update SMS Consent.

When you receive the first message in a conversation, you also receive a welcome message on your phone with your company name identified. The message lets you know that you can reply STOP to the message to unsubscribe. If you reply STOP, your SMS consent is turned off and you can't send or receive text messages for any conversation. In this case, you can't update your consent from Dayforce. Instead, you must reply START to the same phone number that you replied STOP to.

If you replied STOP to multiple messages, you need to reply START to the multiple phone numbers these messages came from. To find out which number (or numbers) you need to reply START to, go to your career profile and click Update SMS Consent.
