In the Succession Plans feature, you can view a development plan by clicking the development plan icon (
) or the draft development plan icon (
) next to an employee's name in the plan slide-out panel.
If you have edit access for a succession plan, you can edit the development plans after opening them from the slide-out panel. This includes editing the details, adding activities, and tracking progress.
Succession development plans that you have view or edit access for are also displayed in the Team plans or Draft plans tab of the Development Plans feature. From the Development Plans feature, you can manage development plans that were created throughout Dayforce in one place.
After a succession development plan is published, the assigned employee can view and work on the plan from the My plans tab of the Development Plans feature. Employees can update and add to these plans, but they can't delete them.
Note: Employees can only view and edit published succession development plans. Draft plans aren't displayed for employees in the Development Plans feature.
