Before you can do succession planning, you need talent reviews. The talent review process uses talent factors to help you assess each employee’s contributions to your organization and to identify employees who might have potential for growth. Managers are responsible for rating each employee on each of these talent factors, and then monitoring and reassessing the ratings throughout the year. These ratings can be added to each employee’s profile in the People feature, and then monitored and adjusted as needed from Succession > Succession Plans.
