You can review and adjust talent factor ratings for individual employees in the talent matrix, available from Succession > Talent Matrix. The talent matrix is designed to help you identify employees who are excelling, as well as those who might require additional attention. You can view up to 100 employees in the talent matrix.
Role feature access: Succession > Talent Matrix. See Enable Succession Planning Role Features.
Employees are plotted in the boxes based on their Performance and Potential talent factor ratings:
Note: Talent matrices are configurable and can be updated to meet your organization's needs in Succession Setup > Talent Review Setup. See Configure Talent Matrices.
For example, an employee with a high level of potential who isn’t yet performing at their best might be plotted in the “Potential Performer” box. This suggests that, with some nurturing, they could improve their performance and become a possible candidate for succession. You can see more details about each box if you hover over or click the information icon next to its title.
If your organization has configured more than one type of talent matrix, you can toggle between them using the Matrix Type drop-down list above the matrix.
Employees who aren't rated for one or more talent factors are listed to the right of the matrix in a Not Rated Yet list.
You can click each employee’s name in either the matrix, or in the Not Rated Yet list to open their talent score card, and then rate them on their succession readiness.
You can also go to the employee’s profile to assign ratings for the other talent factors by clicking their picture, and then clicking View Profile in their employee card (if enabled).
See Talent Factor Ratings in the People Feature.

To list only that manager’s direct reports, or both their direct and indirect reports, select the corresponding radio button.
The talent matrix provides the following additional features:
