After a workflow is saved, the localize icons for the Message Subject and Message Body fields are enabled.
Clicking this button opens the Localize dialog box, where you can add localized versions of the associated message or body. This dialog box includes the read-only Base Value field, which shows the content of the message subject or body in the base language. When you add a new localization record, you can click Paste to add the base text to the Value field of the record, including the tokens. You can then edit the content around the tokens as needed for the language.
Note: When you paste the base value, don’t change the token text, because this causes the token not to populate in the message.
The text editor seen above is shown only when localizing the message body and not the message subject. When you localize the message subject, you need to add the text directly in the Value column.
To localize the message subject and body:
- Go to Workflow Administration > Workflow Designer.
- Select a workflow.
- In the Diagram tab, select the node that you want to want to localize the message for.
- In the node properties, click the localize icon of the Message Subject or Message Body fields.
- In the Expression Builder dialog box, click Add.
- Select an option from the Language drop-down list.
- Enter the localized text in the Value field. If needed, click Paste next to the Base Value field to add the base text to the Value field.
- Click Save.
