The KiwiSaver Deduction KS2 form allows New Zealand employees to record their KiwiSaver details in Dayforce. The form includes the ability to upload a savings suspension notice file. Personal and contact details from the employee profile are automatically populated into the form.
The KiwiSaver Deduction KS2 form generates a record in the Payroll > KiwiSaver screen of People.
The following is a description of the mappings between the form and the record in People:
- If this is the first time the form is submitted for the employee, the Enrollment Type in the record is set to New Employee.
- If users select No in the Are you a KiwiSaver member? drop-down list, the rest of the form is grayed-out except for the Declaration checkbox and Contribution drop-down list. The resulting record will have an Enrollment Type of New Employee and a Status of AE - Auto-enroll. Users can select a percent in the Contributions drop-down list or leave it blank to default to 3%.

The Employee Contribution Rate (%) drop-down list is populated based on their selection in the form, or if no selection is made, it defaults to 3%.
