This guide describes the Dayforce HR Self-Service features used to document, enforce, and automate business processes.
Dayforce uses workflows to automate business processes. Each workflow represents a single process, and captures all of the notifications, forms, and decisions involved in the process. When you initiate a workflow by submitting an associated form, or guided process, the workflow determines what happens at each stage in the process. The Dayforce HR Self-Service features rely on Dayforce Messaging to route and display forms and notifications.
This guide contains the following sections, each of which is primarily intended for a different audience:
- Workflow Administration Configuration. This section is intended for system administrators and describes how to create and define workflows, how to associate workflows with forms, and how to control which roles can access the forms and from where.
- Manage Workflow Records. This section is intended for administrators who maintain and manage workflows and describes how review workflows that have ended or are in progress.
