When a workflow is at an active Decision node, you can add new recipients to approve it. For example, a manager is on vacation and is unable to respond to requests. To prevent the pending request from timing out, you can forward the request for approval to another manager who works at the same location and include a message explaining the situation.
When you add new approvers, the request that was sent to the previous approvers is cancelled. Continuing the example above, if you send the request to another manager, the manager who originally received the request can no longer approve or reject it.
To add new approvers, right-click the active Decision node and then click Send To.
Dayforce shows a dialog box for adding recipients and composing a message:
You can select one or more employees and add a subject and message. When you click Send, Dayforce sends the request to the new approvers and closes the dialog box.
