Unlink Candidates

To unlink a candidate in the Improved Candidate Experience:

  1. Select the candidate, depending on where you are in the Recruiting feature:
    • In the Candidates tab of Recruiting > Job Requisitions.
    • In the list of candidates in Candidate Management.
    • In the candidate's profile.
  2. Click Unlink in the toolstrip, then Delete Record in the Unlink Candidate confirmation dialog box.
  3. Recruiting shows a message to indicate that the candidate was unlinked from the employee. The candidate profile and employee record are updated.

To unlink a candidate from the Classic Recruiter Experience:

  1. Go to the Candidates tab of Recruiting > Job Requisitions.
  2. Select the candidate and click Link. The Link Candidates window opens.
  3. Do one of the following:
    • Click the X to clear the previous selection from the Employee drop-down list.
    • Use the drop-down list to find and select a different employee to link the candidate to.
  4. Click Submit.
  5. Recruiting shows a message to indicate that the candidate was unlinked from the employee. The candidate profile and employee record are updated. The icon displayed next to the candidate's name is updated.
