To unlink a candidate in the Improved Candidate Experience:
- Select the candidate, depending on where you are in the Recruiting feature:
- In the Candidates tab of Recruiting > Job Requisitions.
- In the list of candidates in Candidate Management.
- In the candidate's profile.
- Click Unlink in the toolstrip, then Delete Record in the Unlink Candidate confirmation dialog box.
- Recruiting shows a message to indicate that the candidate was unlinked from the employee. The candidate profile and employee record are updated.
To unlink a candidate from the Classic Recruiter Experience:
- Go to the Candidates tab of Recruiting > Job Requisitions.
- Select the candidate and click Link. The Link Candidates window opens.
- Do one of the following:
- Click the X to clear the previous selection from the Employee drop-down list.
- Use the drop-down list to find and select a different employee to link the candidate to.
- Click Submit.
- Recruiting shows a message to indicate that the candidate was unlinked from the employee. The candidate profile and employee record are updated. The icon displayed next to the candidate's name is updated.
