Use the Send Resume option in Recruiting to send resumes by email to the users in your organization. This option allows you to share resumes from Recruiting directly, without having to download them and go to your email client. Resumes can only be sent to business email addresses.
For the Classic Recruiter Experience you can send resumes for up to five candidates and the file size can't exceed 20 MB. For the Improved Recruiter Experience, you can send any number of resumes. When the file size exceeds 20MB or if there are more than 15 resumes, they are sent in batch in separate emails. You are told how many emails will be sent.
Role feature access: Recruiting > Recruiting > Actions > Send Resume via email
To send candidate resumes to users in your organization:
- Select one or more candidates in the Candidate Management tab or the Candidates tab for an opened job requisition. Then select Send Resume in the toolstrip.
- Note: You can also go to a candidate's profile and select Send Resume from the Actions menu.
- You see the send resume email template, and a list of the candidates you selected and the requisition you selected them from (if applicable).
- Customize the contents of the email as needed.
- Add the recipients who you want to send the email to in the Recipients field (or, in the To field in the Classic Recruiter Experience).
- Click Send to send the email to the user's defined business email address.
