Before You Begin: This functionality isn’t available for custom screening questionnaire sections.
In the Section Configuration tab of Recruiting Setup > Job Application Sections, you can configure the visibility of application section fields, and specify whether the visible fields are required using the Field Visibility drop-down list:
To configure field visibility:
- Go to Recruiting Setup > Job Application Configuration.
- Click the Section Configuration tab.
- Select one of the following sections in the Job Application Sections list:
- Personal Information
- Education History
- Employment History
- References
- When you select one of these sections, the application displays the Application Section Field Configuration section.
- If the field is configurable, Dayforce displays a drop-down list in the Field Visibility column. Select one of the following options to define the visibility and requirements of each field:
- Visible - Required
- Visible - Not Required
- Not Visible
- Note: Not all fields can be configured, and not all field visibility options might be available for each configurable field.
- Click Save. When candidates submit an application, the system validates that the required fields are completed for each section.
