When you add or edit a primary work assignment in the Work > Work Assignments screen of People, and you click Save, Dayforce checks if the employee’s current pay type and pay class match the default set for the new job assignment. If these values don't match, Dayforce shows the Suggested Job Assignment Defaults dialog box, where you can review the old and new values. You can select the radio button in the Before column to keep an old value:
