Activate Organization Designer

- New Organization Designer user interface -

If Organization Designer hasn’t been activated yet, you see the activation screen when you open the feature. Click Activate Designer and Dayforce starts the configuration in the background.

After a few moments, you see two options to begin adding business units:

• Build From Scratch: Click Create a Business Unit to start adding business units one at a time. See Add Business Units.
• Import Data: click Import Business Units to build your hierarchy using an import file. See Import Business Units.

Note: If your organization users the original Organization Designer user interface, you need to create a Dayforce Community case to activate Organization Designer. For more information about the original and new interface, see Organization Designer User Interface.
